On of our dogs has always reminded me of an AT-AT Walker. Patrick Boivin, a Montreal filmmaker took inspiration from his childhood longing for both a dog, and the toy. Truly awesome.

The Johnny Cash Project is a website where users submit drawings of Johnny based on frames from his last video and studio performance “Ain’t no Grave”, resulting in an inspiring animation. The project was created by Chris Milk and Aaron Koblin in conjunction with Rick Rubin; the website was designed and built by @radical.media and Mr. doob.

Khalid Mohtaseb was hired to shoot ENG footage in Haiti for some international networks after the earthquakes. This is a montage of the footage he captured in his spare time around Port Au Prince… pretty incredible.

Connected is an inspiring short sci-fi film produced by a group of Danish students. Set in the distant future, it tells a story about survival and greed with a post apocalyptic wasteland as its backdrop. Survivors of an unknown disaster shuffle through a desolate landscape, as it quickly becomes clear that not everybody has the strength to survive.
